The Warranty Extension Package is available to new, non-refurbished MSI products and must be additionally purchased within your product’s original commercial warranty period in the same country as the original product purchase. When activated, your product warranty term will be extended by the indicated extension term. The total product warranty term, including both the original and extension warranty terms, may be extended up to a combined maximum of five (5) years. The package must be registered and activated via MSI’s website within thirty 30 days of purchase. Your original purchase receipts should be kept and carefully stored for proof of purchase and validation purposes.

MSI products that are new, not refurbished are eligible for this Warranty Extension Package. The Warranty Extension Package may only be applied to an eligible product once.
1. Your warranty period will be by extended by the number of additional warranty year(s) purchased after the Warranty Extension has been registered and activated.
2. The Warranty Extension Package must be purchased within the original product commercial warranty period. This period will be determined based on the MSI product purchase receipt or other relevant purchase document.
3. You must register and activate your Warranty Extension Package online within one month after you purchase the package. Your Warranty Extension Package will be expired if the online registration and activation is not finished within stated deadline.
4. The warranty extension period is effective from the expiration of your original product warranty. The Warranty Extension Package scope will be limited to breakdown or malfunctions that occur during the extended warranty period and under normal conditions of use.
5. The Warranty Extension package may extend a product’s total warranty term, including the original product warranty, up to a maximum of five (5) years.
6. The Warranty Extension Package can only be purchased in the country where you purchased your product.
7. The Warranty Extension Package may offer additional comprehensive service and support. However, such additional service shall be subject to policies prescribed by the MSI subsidiary in such country and may vary by region.
8. The Warranty Extension Package does not provide international, global coverage. The Warranty Extension Package only applies in the country where the product was purchased.
9. The Warranty Extension Package, if not registered and activated after purchase, may be refunded within fourteen (14) days of purchase.
10. The Warranty Extension Package, once registered and activated, cannot be refunded. Within seven (7) days of activation, you may contact MSI’s customer service to transfer the Warranty Extension Package to another MSI product eligible for this package that you have purchased.

MSI may refuse to provide the maintenance service, or may request payment for parts, labor, and/or shipping charges in any of the following conditions:
1. MSI does not have any record of product registration information and you are unable to present the MSI product warranty card (including digital warranty card, as applicable), the product purchase receipt, invoice, or similar document evidencing the product warranty is still in effect;
2. The product is not acquired from an MSI authorized channel, distributor, or is acquired as a second hand, or illegal purchase from other sources;
3. The complete product unit or its parts have exceeded the original warranty, or the extended warranty period;
4. Any breakdown or damage caused by non-complying with instructions stated in the product user manual, or improper packaging, storage, and use;
5. Any breakdown or damage caused by installation, repair, modification or removal (breaking mark, warranty stickers, damage or loss of compliance label) performed by third parties, service centers, or personnel not authorized by MSI;
6. Any breakdown or damage caused by use of parts not certified by MSI;
7. The serial number pasted on a complete unit or the parts is broken, defective, or does not match MSI’s internal records;
8. Any breakdown or damage caused by accidental or man-made factors (including without limitation, intentional damage, use of pirated software, computer virus, moving, compression, scratch (scrape), hit, crash, high temperature, high humidity, water inflow, use of inapplicable voltage, non-factory battery and transformer, stain, corrosion, etc.);
9. Any breakdown or damage caused by use of pirated software;
10. Any scrape (scratch), liquid leak, crack, etc. on the LCD screen surface;
11. Any breakdown or damage caused by natural disasters and human calamities (such as earthquake, fire, riot, etc.);
12. Product battery and or other free accessories or bundles are regarded as a consumable parts and are not covered by the Warranty Extension Package.

The warranties provided in this policy shall be MSI’s sole warranty. MSI does not directly or indirectly warrant that the product is of merchantable quality or fit for any particular purpose. All such implied warranties are hereby disclaimed and excluded by MSI. All Products are given “as is”.

THE LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED UNDER THIS PACKAGE IS PROVIDED IN ADDITION TO RIGHTS PROVIDED BY CONSUMER LAW AND DOES NOT EXCLUDE, LIMIT, OR SUSPEND THE RIGHTS OF THE CONSUMERS GUARANTEED BY APPLICABLE CONSUMER LAWS AND REGULATIONS. EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY LAW, MSI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU, UNDER ALL THEORIES OF LIABILITY, FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFIT OR GOODWILL, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO BUSINESS EARNINGS, OR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO DATA OR INFORMATION). IN NO EVENT SHALL MSI’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THIS WARRANTY TERM ON A CUMULATIVE BASIS FOR ALL CLAIMS OR CAUSES OF ACTION, UNDER ANY THEORIES OF LIABILITY, EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
